Sunday March 23, 2008: Slide Guitar

Now that I'm playing the full-body acoustic for standard type playing again (back still not too sore as long as I take appropriate breaks) I've decided to use the acoustic-electric for alternate tunings for slide guitar.



Slide Guitar:

• Acoustic Slide Basics (David Hamburger): All tunes up till (and including) "Two Chord Draw". Will stay in Open-G for at least one more day since I can do the single-string melodies that are in Open-D at the beginning of the book in Open-G. Want to refresh my memory of these simple tunes at least one more day before changing to Open-D and moving on to "The Cover Up"
